CRI Survivor Care – Abigail

My teammate and I will be functioning as the international survivor care team for the Children’s Rescue Initiative (CRI) by bridging communication between national partners and the home office. Making sure no kids fall through the cracks, we will go into their communities and build further relationship with them and our partners in order to support the local teams with holistic care. Meanwhile, we will be documenting information on behalf of CRI to determine how we, as an organization, can continue to offer support on the ground.

This upcoming trip, will be a precursor and vision trip for similar work supporting CRI and the local partners/contacts on the ground with the goal of creating long lasting impact on the lives of the children and families rescued. Our goal is to leave no stone left unturned. Serving as the international survivor care team, we will be stepping into the context of each child and create plans with the local team how to best care for them holistically (physically, emotionally, spiritually). Ultimately, Christ is the one who brings restoration. Our role is to partner with local believers through the leading of the Spirit and to continually discern how CRI can support the physical and spiritual restoration of the children.

We would love to connect with you to share more about this work. It would be an honor to partner with you in the support and care for these beloved kids.
