Program: BOMBARDOPOLIS – Haiti
“Answering the call to serve—strengthening lives, one flight and one friendship at a time.”
— The Kling Family
Our Mission in Haiti
We are the Kling Family, and we are honored to partner with the work taking place in Bombardopolis, Haiti—a community that is growing in both capacity and influence, with a unique ability to reach the rest of the nation.
The Northwest region of Haiti has remained stable and is home to a rapidly expanding hospital that serves as a lifeline for surrounding communities. This hospital works closely with an aviation organization to provide critical medical evacuation flights. These medevac flights are happening almost daily, yet there is currently no full-time aircraft mechanic on the ground. Without consistent maintenance, flights can be delayed or grounded—putting lives at risk.
Jon brings the skills and licensure necessary to serve as a full-time aircraft mechanic, helping ensure that planes remain airworthy and available. His role directly supports life-saving care and strengthens the reliability of medical access across the region.
In addition to aviation support, the hospital campus is expanding to meet growing needs. With Jon’s extensive background in construction and project management, he will also assist in overseeing key development projects, including a forthcoming blood bank, dental clinic, visitor housing for medical teams, and other essential infrastructure that will support long-term healthcare growth in the area.
Beyond the technical work, both Ashley and Jon believe deeply in the importance of relationship and presence. Community engagement is central to everything we do—working alongside local crews, building trust with community leaders, and sharing life with the people of Bombardopolis, from the markets to the soccer fields. We believe lasting impact is built not only through skills and systems, but through genuine connection, mutual respect, and walking with people in their everyday lives.
Through this partnership, our family’s desire is to help strengthen what is already growing—supporting life-saving medical work, empowering local leadership, and investing in a community with the potential to bless an entire nation.
