Empowering Children, Strengthening Families, and Building Communities

Founded in March 2024 by Aresh Rintu Dey and Pinta Nath Dey, Harvest Ministry Bangladesh is a community-focused organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children and families in rural villages and the hill tract regions of Bangladesh. After relocating from Dhaka to their home village, the founders recognized the significant challenges facing local families, particularly limited access to quality education, essential resources, and opportunities for personal development.

Education is at the heart of their work. Harvest Ministry Bangladesh currently operates a preschool program serving 16 children ages 4 to 6, five days a week. Through early childhood instruction, creative activities, educational materials, and nutritious snacks, children develop the foundational skills, confidence, and positive habits needed to succeed in primary school.

Their after-school program provides additional academic support, including homework assistance, tutoring, mentoring, and guidance in developing effective study habits. Regular meetings with parents and guardians encourage family involvement and strengthen relationships between educators and the community.

Beyond academics, the organization provides community-based activities that promote kindness, positive values, personal responsibility, and meaningful relationships. These programs currently engage approximately 90 children across the village and hill tract communities, helping young people develop confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging.

Looking ahead, Harvest Ministry Bangladesh hopes to expand its educational programs, establish additional learning centers and an elementary school, and increase access to educational supplies. Future initiatives also include vocational skills training for women and girls, youth development opportunities, and a community clinic providing essential healthcare services.

Through compassionate leadership, practical assistance, and strong community relationships, Aresh and Pinta are creating opportunities for children and families to overcome challenges and build brighter, more secure futures.
